Currently seeking a Payroll Coordinator for an immediate vacancy with a leading Insurance Firm in Midtown New York City. As the Payroll Coordinator, you will be hands-on in the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll, as well as supporting the benefits programs. This organization is fast-growing so previous experience within a similar firm is needed.
As the Payroll Coordinator, you will:
Administer biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy of timesheet submissions
Maintain HRIS System (ADP Workforce)
Process salary changes, bonus payments and other related changes to employee records
Prepare and process date for biweekly payroll and monthly benefit reconciliations
Perform necessary audits to ensure payroll and systems accuracy
Administer employee benefits programs, developing and preparing communications about benefits, procedures, claims and any other government mandated disclosures
Requirements and Qualifications:
4+ years’ experience hands-on payroll processing
Experience with ADP Workforce Now
Knowledgeable in Excel including VLookup and formulas
Able to support multiple locations
