Payroll Coordinator

Currently seeking a Payroll Coordinator for an immediate vacancy with a leading Insurance Firm in Midtown New York City. As the Payroll Coordinator, you will be hands-on in the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll, as well as supporting the benefits programs. This organization is fast-growing so previous experience within a similar firm is needed.
 
As the Payroll Coordinator, you will:
  • Administer biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy of timesheet submissions
  • Maintain HRIS System (ADP Workforce)
  • Process salary changes, bonus payments and other related changes to employee records
  • Prepare and process date for biweekly payroll and monthly benefit reconciliations
  • Perform necessary audits to ensure payroll and systems accuracy
  • Administer employee benefits programs, developing and preparing communications about benefits, procedures, claims and any other government mandated disclosures
 
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 4+ years’ experience hands-on payroll processing
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Knowledgeable in Excel including VLookup and formulas
  • Able to support multiple locations
